Punching gap

1. Mold manufacturing error, die parts processing does not conform to the drawings, poor parallelism of the bottom plate, etc.;
2. Mold assembly error, large gap between guide parts, uneven assembly of convex and concave molds, etc.;
3. The precision of the press is poor, such as the gap between the guide rails of the press is too large, the parallelism between the bottom surface of the slider and the surface of the worktable is not good, or the perpendicularity between the stroke of the slider and the table of the press is not good, and the rigidity of the workbench is poor. Deflection during cutting can cause changes in the gap;
4. Installation error, such as the surface of the upper and lower bottom plates of the die is not wiped clean during installation or the fastening method of the upper die of the large die is improper, and the upper and lower dies of the die are not installed concentrically (especially the die without guide pillars), causing the working part to tilt;
5. The structure of the punching die is unreasonable, the rigidity of the punching die and the working part is not enough, the punching force is unbalanced, etc.;
6. The curvature of the steel plate is large, and the steel plate is uneven.

The material does not meet the process requirements
The thickness of the material is seriously out of tolerance or the use of the wrong material (such as the wrong steel grade) causes the relative gap to be unreasonable and cause burrs on the workpiece.
